ooc: If you haven't noticed, all mine are short. ;D Kiba glared at Miriko. He sighed and stopped in his foot steps. "Take Zoma out of here and find some shelter. I'll take the guards." Kiba didn't want answer from them. He dashed towards the soilders. When he was close, natural comafloge came on. He limped and pretended to be hurt. The men stuck up their guns. Kiba whispered in pain, "The wolf's went that way." He pointed in the direction of the two wolfs. The men nodded their heads and started to travel in that direciton. Kiba leaped at a man closest to him and bit deep into his neck. The group screamed at Kiba's sudden attack.

Miriko nodded, ushering Zoma by bumping her muzzle into his shoulders. "Come on, move it!" she snapped, her ears flicking back to her head, the footsteps getting louder still. "But what about Kiba?" Zoma questioned, watching him run off towards the soldiers. "He'll be fine. He has a good nose, he can find us when this is all over with." she growled. This seemed to get the pup's spirits up and he nodded, bolting down the sewer ways, their paws slapping against the muck and wetness of this place, causing it to echo around them. Miriko took the lead quickly, turning to the left, then the right, zig zagging throughout the course of the sewer system, leading them, if any got passed Kiba in a labyrinth of confusion. A small pinprick of light filtered at the end of this tunnel. They were almost out. "Look, look we're gonna get outta here without those soldiers getting us." Zoma laughed, jumping a few times in his excitement. "Hopefully." Miriko whispered to herself as they broke out of the wimpy grate that blocked it off. It clanged as it hit the ground, white paws standing upon the rusty surface. The city stunk of those soldiers, which made an unease bubble form in the pit of her stomach. They would now have to be careful. "Zoma, be careful." she whispered to him, placing a firm hand on the ten year old's shoulder, "These disguises won't work for some of those guards, if they catch us, I want you to run. Run as fast as you can and find a hiding place. Ok?" "B-b-but what about you?" he quickly stammered, fear enveloping his eyes. "I'll be fine." she said, but her confidence was only in her words, she had never fought off a whole barrage of guards before, "I'll come and find you once every thing cools down or Kiba will find you. If I don't come back, I want you to go with Kiba." Zoma only nodded, gulping back his fear, his large pink eyes brimming with tears as he looked up at his sister. As of right now, she was his only family and he didn't want to lose that. "It will be fine. Come on, let's go." she said, pushing Zoma forwards with the palm of her hands pressed squarely between his shoulder blades, forcing him to move.

Kiba dodged around a few of the shots fired by the men. He lunged at one and bit into his shoulder, deep, blood lose would be his death. Once all the men's blood was turning the water red, he leaped onto the side walk, and ran towards the stairs where Zoma and Miriko left. He was paces away when he heard a shot, this made him fall straight to the ground.

OoC: Sorry for not replying for a few days, I've been busy.
BiC: However, they hadn't made it two feet from their exit out of the sewers when a gun shot rang out. Both of them turned, looking over their shoulders at the large circular pipe they had emerged from moments ago. "Kiba!" Zoma yelled, bolting back into the sewer determined to find their new friend. "Zoma, no!" Miriko snapped, trying to grasp around her little brother's arm, but her hand clasped around thin air. She cursed under her breath, diving back into the darkness of the pipe. He was so stubborn sometimes. She had to admit that. Her paws slooshed against the muck and perspiration of this dank place, her ears erect and alert, listening for any sign of Zoma's whimpering. However, it never came and fear quickly flooded her, making her move quicker up the concrete path which lead around the sewer channel itself. A deep growl emerged from her vocal cords as she spotted Kiba laying motionless upon the ground and the soldier standing above him, his gun flung over his shoulder. It was probably a good thing that the human hadn't noticed her sudden appearance or she would of been laying beside the wolf. However, her jaws shut tight around his left arm, teeth forcing themselves firmly into the man's arm. He screamed in pain, trying to shake the large canine from his arm, smacking the beast in the head with his gloved right hand. Their shuffling about ended them up in the sewage, the soldier landing underneath Miriko. Paws pressing firmly open his chest, his whole body submerged under the waste. His arms flailing around helplessly trying to get the wolf off of him.
In all the commotion, Zoma emerged from the shadows, noticing the his sister had the human under control, he padded over to Kiba, nudging the male with his muzzle. "Kiba." he whispered, now pushing his shoulder with one of his tiny paws, "Kiba, get up." Tears began to flood the pup's eyes, not wanting their only other wolf contact to be dead before him.
In a matter of moment, the man had stopped his struggling, dead beneath Miriko's paws, having drowned. She snorted at his lifeless body. Pushing through the muck, she finally managed to find her footing upon the concrete, shaking the dirty waters from her, which had stained every inch of her that had been submitted to the waste water of the sewer. Two toned eyes quickly glanced over at Kiba and the crying Zoma. A sigh escaped her muzzle as she slowly made her way over to them, however, she hadn't looked around for more soldiers, which she should of done. She didn't know how many more had made their way down here after them. "Is he going to be ok?" Zoma asked, tears leaking down his cheeks, matting up his gray fur the tear stains left. Miriko lowered her head, listening intently to Kiba's current intake of air. She nodded, which lifted Zoma's spirits again. "Kiba, can you move or will Zoma and I have to carry you to safety?" she asked, hopefully he would have enough strength to talk to them.

ooc: Glad your on again! Kiba felt the blood running out of his pelt. He coughed a stream of blood out. He heard the two, but could not make out any of the words. A red veil slowly covered his eyes. He let the darkness take place in his heart. He didn't know anything that was going around him.

"Well, looks like I'm going to have to carry him then." Miriko grumbled, blowing blonde bangs out of green eyes. Zoma sat there, his knees curled up into his chest, wide eyes watching as his sister grabbed a hold of one of Kiba's arms, gently lifting him to his knees and them pulling his arm around her neck, she let his weight rest on her, supporting him. "Come on, Zoma let's get out of this place. It does a number on my nose." she said, smiling down at the little boy, who bounded to his feet. "We'll have to find some sort of shelter, where those guards won't find us." Zoma nodded and the two of them, Miriko still supporting Kiba's weight, made their way out of the sewer.
It took them half an hour to find a suitable place, and if Kiba hadn't gotten himself shot, they would of found it a lot sooner. Zoma helped Miriko ease Kiba into a laying position upon his side. She quickly began to examine his wound, seeing the deep gash in his back and the blood didn't seem to have any effect on her, however, Zoma cringed when she touched some of the blood. "The wounds pretty darn deep." she said to herself, "Hopefully, he'll be alright. Zoma, I'm going out to find some medicine to put on his wounds, I'll be needing that whenever I get back." she said, pointing her finger at the bandage wrapped around the boy's arm. Zoma eyed the bandage quickly, then nodded his head vigorously a few times. "What do I do if he comes round?" he asked, watching as Miriko peered out the window at the empty streets. "Don't let him move too much. If that wound gets any bigger, he'll be in more pain and may die of blood loss." she stated, noting the darkening sky, a smile pushing across her lips, "Darkness will be my cover. I'll be back in a few." And with that, she slipped out the window and silence again overtook the small decaying home they were using as shelter. A sigh escaped Zoma's mouth and he pulled his knees back into his chest, resting his chin gently on his left knee cap, watching Kiba. "Please don't die." he whisper, again holding back large tears that were welling up in his eyes.

((Opps! I thought I was waiting for you! xD)) Kiba opened his eyes abit. He smiled at Zoma. He then whispered, "I'm not dying soon..." He voiced faded as his energy drained to talk. He looked over to Miriko. He gave her a tap with his foot. He then gave her a smile. The smile faded as his wounds cut at him again. ((AH! Short post.. ))
