"Im . . . . alone?!" she asked herself, Vitani started to panic "Alone?!" she kept repeating the same word over and over as she started to pace back and forth in the snow "Toboe! Blue!" she knew they wouldn't be able to hear her because of the wind and snow but she had to try. Finally she collapsed into the snow. Trembling and scared, she lay there on her side with her eyes closed and sides heaving rapidly up and down.

Toboe felt a thud on his side. He poked his head out side of his little hole and say V next to him. "Hey!" He yelled out over the roaring storm. His body shook with cold. He sneezed and then looked back at V. "Make your own hole before you die!" A snow drift hit him and he ducked back under his litte hole and closed the entrance again.

V didn't move for a couple of moments, the wind was whipping at her body and it felt like it was cutting her skin. She took Toboe's advice though, digging her claws into the snow and began digging a hole big enough for her. Her shoveled away the snow with her paws and dug deeper before finally crawling in and curling into a ball with her nose in her tail and eyes closed tight. She would just have to look for the others later.
