Soon the snow storm stopped and something woke him,sitting up and shaking the snow from his fur Jasper wondered exactly what it was. He felt a sudden tug like something was pulling him,an invisible string attached to his heart. He put his hand over his heart for a moment in wonder but could feel nothing. "Well I have nothing better to do"Jasper muttered as he stood and started to pad in the direction of the tug.
A mile or two of walking and Jasper looked back to see his footprints in the snow,*Wow I've never been this far away from home before but staying in that city was a bad idea, I just barely made it out of there alive*he thought. Looking forward he felt the tug again pulling him and he followed it.
He had walked far when the tug stopped on its on leaving poor Jasper lost and confused."Where now?"he growled as he looked around and spotted a small cave,someone was sitting outside of it. Jasper sat down and decided to wait and see if they spotted him or not and what they would do about it.

Ahan opened his eyes which he had closed to rest and sniffed the air. Mingled in with the scents of Alane and Volug was something foreign in the air. True the snow and wind threw off a wolf's sense of smell but even a faint scent could be picked up when it belonged to another wolf. It was the sort of smell that was so uncommon you couldn't help but notice. Of course humans would never know such things, they never noticed the painfully obvious. Still Ahan was not human.
"We have company." he said rather dryly.

Volug noticed the wolf before he scented him. Volug realized that Tsume was closer than he should have been. He scented the wolf and turned to Toboe. Volug was to far away to reach them in time. He looked at the wolf near. Tsume dashed at the wolf, leaping at him in the air. Toboe came from the ground with power in his eyes. Toboe was the smallest, but he would leave the biggest mark.

Surprised at the sudden attack Jasper just barely managed to jump out of the way.*I knew I should have ran instead of staying here*he scolded himself as he growled at his attackers. "I don't wish to fight you but if you leave me no choice I will"he warned as he bared his teeth and the fur on the back of his neck and his back stood on end.
He noticed other wolves as well as he looked around and he knew that it was no use trying to run so he would have to fight even thought he was surrounded. Jasper tucked his tail in and laid his ears back against his skull as he readied for the fight to come.

"Enough." Volug walked forward, calling back Tsume who was ready for the attack. Toboe bounced back and sat beside Tsume, smiling at him. Volug stepped forward and looked at the wolf. "What are you doing here?"
Alane looked to Ahan and sighed. "I guess I should sleep when its our turn to look out." He looked at him and slowly closed his eyes.

"I don't know I felt something pulling me in this direction and then it suddenly stopped" Jasper explained,his gaze landing on Tsume every once in a while to make sure that he didn't try to surprise him again. "I didn't even realize you guys were here until a few minutes ago and then they attacked me"he pointed his muzzle at Tsume and Toboe, "Do you guys always attack without speaking first?" he added giving a smirk.

Tsume barred his teeth and walked around him. Toboe laughed and looked at the wolf. "I'm Toboe. Thats Tsume." Toboe smiled and gave a sort of wink. Toboe pounded after Toboe and Volug looked at him. "Well get in the cave." Volug walked towards the cave. He barked a command towards Alane and Ahan, making sure they knew that he was coming in with another wolf.

Ahan knew a new wolf was arriving but there wasn't much room for him to offer. He tried to move back a little more - at least to add another inch or two to the space- but failed when his body hit the back wall of the cave.
"Not much of a place to move around in here, Volug... It'll be a really tight squeeze."

Volug came to the cave entrance and looked out over the snow again. He looked to Jasper and motioned for him to sit beside him. He looked back at Ahan and said, "Better?" Alane pipped up before Ahan, "Great! Thanks!" Alane didn't really catch the sarcasim in his voice really well.

"Not much room is there?? You sure you want me here? You just met me and your letting me be near you" Jasper looked to Volug and then to Alane and Ahan. It was very hard for him to trust others because of the fact that he had been attacked so many times so how is this any different?
"My names Jasper by the way and who might I ask are you guys?"he was trying to be be friendly but being surrounded by strange wolves made it hard for him to be relaxed.

Ahan closed his eyes again. At first for a moment he was unsure if he wanted to say his name. After all, there was a bounty on him. Then he decided he should. After all since there was a bounty he was absolutely sure there was a description to go with it. It was best to stop hiding.
"My name's Ahan," he replied, his voice firm and sure. It held the power of a wolf who had known authority because in the Rebel Pack he had. He couldn't help but wonder for a bit who Zarna had replaced him with.

Voulg looked at the wolf and said, "Think about it this way...if you attack, we all attack and your dead. There is no threat from you." Alane looked at the new wolf and laughed, just trying to make Jasper more comfortable.
"Names Alane!" Alane smiled and wagged his tail. You could tell he was simply friendly.

"Ahan where have I heard that name before? Hey you were on the wanted posters back in the city weren't you? Wow I never thought I'd meet you" Jasper replied excitedly his tail wagging with it,"You have a major bounty on your head, how did you manage to keep away this long?".
Then Jasper looked to the one who had spoken about attacking him if he attacked. "That is true but even with numbers it would take me a while to trust in a new wolf"he replied very seriously.
Finally he looked to Alane and smiled nervously before replied politely in turn"Its nice to meet you". This wolf seemed genuinely friendly and welcoming but still it was hard for Jasper to feel like he was safe here,what other choice did he have thought couse it was either this or freezing to death out there.

Ahan fidgeted under the question. Posters? So Zarna was not below posting his human identity in order to apprehend him? This changed the playing field of their game entirely. He inwardly cursed. Still he met Jasper's gaze proudly. "I ran. That's all a wolf really can do is keep moving, right?"

"Yes but a wolf cannot run forever"Jasper replied using the exact words his father had said to him long ago when he told him that he was leaving the pack. 'Ah dad you never knew' he thought and a grin appeared on his maw and his tail wagged slightly.
